1. Back Zip

We use a PK 8mm zip made of high quality nylon, we decided to use a short zip (30cm) in order to give the most flexibility to the back. An internal flap is folded around the neck, it separates the back from the zipper and allows a perfect waterproofness. It also adds a few millimeters in this area very exposed to the wind.

2. X10D fleece Plus

The X10D fleece offers good thermal insulation all around the chest. It is also 22% lighter than a classic jersey.

3. GBS Seams

The different neoprene panels are glued together and then "blind-stitched" (the needle does not go all the way through the neoprene thickness). In addition to being totally waterproof, this type of stitching offers a very good level of flexibility.

Return of the Backzip

The backzip models are made with the same materials, constructions and technologies as the frontzip models. They also use the same fit, only the opening system changes.

The backzip has lost some of its charm in the last few years, yet it offers a good flexibility on the torso, very pleasant when holding a kite bar or when paddling in the surf.

Sealing prints

The waterproof prints block water entry at the ankles and wrists, and hold the forearm and calf panels in place. They are flexible enough to not interfere with putting on and taking off.

Strategic structure

Certain areas of the suit are particularly sensitive to friction, tension and tearing, which is why we have designed MANERA suits to :

. Avoid sewing in areas of high stress, which increases flexibility and durability.
. Be sure that the seams are forced vertically and not horizontally
. Remove all seams from friction areas, which prevents chafing and improves flexibility.
. Strategically reinforce areas and signs.

Fusion cut

The different layers of neoprene are fused together at the arms and legs, making the finish finer and more aesthetic. By coating it, it also protects the inner neoprene foam (AIR-FOAM).
