The Whizz SLS, with an average aspect ratio of 8.5, offers a balanced profile that performs equally well in handling and pumping. Its straight, inflection-free outline optimizes the balance between lift and drag, improving pumping efficiency. Unique in appearance, especially when viewed from the front, the wing's progressive dihedral makes it fun to handle and extremely responsive. Our design team used a reliable and robust profile, similar to that of our Glide 2145 dedicated pumping wing. This profile has the specificity of delaying the stall, allowing you to get out of waves at low speed, while still pumping efficiently. Each Whizz wing size is finely tuned with a unique thickness and camber to ensure sustained lift at low speeds and a wide acceleration range in established conditions. The Whizz is equipped with special stabilizers. The Stabilizer S features minimal camber and a slight dihedral angle, enhancing the feeling of fun and freedom. This unique profile, different from that of our P and C stabilizers, also improves pumping efficiency. The Whizz SLS range is available in 850, 1000, 1200 and 1450. The smallest sizes are aimed primarily at experienced sailors seeking maximum maneuverability in waves, and are also suitable for Wing and Kite Foil. The larger sizes are designed for beginners or heavier riders looking for an easy way to learn or improve their Prone or Wake Foil skills. They are also ideal for SUP Foil in slow, low swell conditions and offer a fun option for dockstart kites for intermediate to advanced riders. For optimum performance, we recommend combining the Whizz front kite with our 66 cm Alu fuselage, positioned slightly forward in relation to our Carve or Glide kites. For greater fluidity, consider our shorter 60 cm fuselage. For a more controlled ride, our longer 74 cm option is available.
