Duotone - Aero AL 3BS fuselage - 74

Encouraged by the excellent feedback Duotone has received for their 60 cm 3BS aluminum fuselage, they have decided to extend these improvements to their longer fuselages. They now offer 66 cm and 74 cm AL 3BS fuselages, replacing their previous 68 and 78 cm carbon fuselages. The switch to aluminum construction makes it possible to reduce the fuselage cross-section, which in turn reduces the drag generated by the fuselage. At the same time, Duotone also enhances strength, while increasing weight by just 2.5%. All their AL 3BS fuselages feature a small notch at the rear to allow the stabilizer to sink in and improve hydrodynamics. They also feature large cut-outs where the front wing is attached, for maximum weight reduction. Of course, the new aluminum fuselages will require a little more maintenance, and will need to be disassembled and rinsed in fresh water after each use, but duotone think the performance gain is worth it!
