Duotone - Fuselage Aero AL 3BS - 90

Encouraged by the excellent feedback we've received on our 60 cm 3BS aluminum fuselage, we've decided to extend these improvements to longer fuselages.

We now offer 66 cm and 74 cm AL 3BS fuselages, replacing the previous 68 and 78 cm carbon fuselages.

The switch to aluminum construction enables us to reduce the fuselage cross-section, which in turn reduces the drag generated by the fuselage. At the same time, we've enhanced strength, while increasing weight by just 2.5%.

All AL 3BS fuselages feature a small notch at the rear to allow the stabilizer to sink in and improve hydrodynamics. They also feature large cut-outs where the front wing is attached, for maximum weight reduction. Of course, the new aluminum fuselages will require a little more maintenance, and will need to be disassembled and rinsed in fresh water after each use, but we think the performance gain is well worth it!
