The technology enables directional localization of a victim's precise location using harmonic radar, without interfering with avalanche transceivers. RECCO® technology facilitates a faster organized search, and increases the chances of being found in time. On Maestrale models, the RECCO® reflector is installed under the Velcro® strap on the right boot.

The forefoot and cuff buckles combined with the instep strap allow you to easily adjust the volume, locking your foot securely for the descent while being able to quickly open the shoe to allow a natural stride on the ascent.

Designed for extreme conditions, Pebax® elastomers are high-performance materials that have been used for many years in winter sports equipment. They offer a unique combination of high-performance properties: sustained flexibility at low temperatures, high resistance to cold impact and exceptional energy return. These elastomers are generally 20% lighter than conventional materials. They combine a rigid block of polyamide 12 (PA12) with a flexible chain of hydrophobic polyether. Combining thermoplastics and rubbers, Pebax® materials are an excellent choice for a wide range of high-performance applications in the sports markets.

This special polyamide offers a good compromise between stiffness and rebound, allowing a gradual transmission of impulses from the boot to the ski during the skiing phase.
