SCARPA Maestrale shoes

This winter, the legendary Maestrale is back, lighter and more efficient, to enable all ski tourers to explore the great outdoors, while ensuring maximum pleasure and comfort on skis. This new version features a new fit that guarantees perfect foot support, thanks in particular to two shell closure systems: the "Wave Closure System" for progressive instep tightening, and the "Heel Retention System" that keeps the heel in the boot during ascent and descent. Equipped with a thermoformable INTUITION liner, you can perfectly adapt the shoe to the specific needs of your feet. Even lighter, at just 1,400g for a 27 shoe, and with a very fluid 61° travel, the Maestrale will take you in top form to the summit and then enjoy the descent. Constructed in Pebax Rnew with a carbon insert in the boot to stiffen it and improve transmission with the skis, precision downhill is perfect. Thanks to the Alpine Axial Hybrid tongue system, getting in and out of the boot is child's play. With durability in mind, a DIY ("Do It Yourself") maintenance kit is supplied with the boot for simplified boot care with easy-to-handle screws. In addition, Pebax Rnew is made from plant-based products (derived from castor oil), the shoe is PVC-free and the Ortholite sole is constructed from recycled compounds. A safety bonus: the shoes are equipped with Recco reflectors.

CARBON CORE PEBAX RNEW SHELL
The Pebax Renew features CARBON CORE technology, an over-injected carbon insert that guarantees high torsional and longitudinal stiffness. The shell enables more direct transmission of impulses to the ski, and consequently greater precision.
A new 102 last, more precise in the heel and medial zone, wider in the metatarsal. This compact shape ensures perfect union and cohesion between foot and shoe for improved performance and feel.

SPEED LOCK MLT
Made from aluminum, the SPEED LOCK MLT features Friction Free technology for maximum agility and freedom of movement when walking. Locking onto the shell is simple and effective, while the steel harpoon and essential design minimize the possibility of snow or ice build-up, ensuring easy closure even in extreme conditions.
FRICTIONLESS TECHNOLOGY
There is no connecting rod between the shell and the cuff, allowing "frictionless" movement during the walking phase.

PEBAX® RNEW
Pebax® Rnew is an eco-friendly, dynamic and durable material, ideal for thin hull walls and variable geometries. It offers lightweight reliability for use in a variety of conditions and terrains.

CARBON CORE EVO
Carbon insert over-injected into the shell to stiffen the boot and improve power transmission to the ski along the entire length of the shell. More power for top-level performance.
HULL EXTENSION
Flap glued to the shell, minimizing the risk of interference between tongue and shell. This makes adjusting and closing the shoe much easier and quicker.

MLT CUFF
New Cuff, made from PEBAX RNEW from renewable sources, features a simple, streamlined design with differentiated reinforcement and thickness zones that offer a high level of support for the skiing phase while limiting weight.

ZEPPA LT
The new zeppa located underfoot between the shell and the liner offers a more comfortable fit and feel to the shoe. The combination of new material and thickness increases the volume of the shell and ensures greater comfort, especially for all-day use.

PRO FLEX TOURING
Thermoformable liner in Intuition Foam, with anatomically shaped tongue and elastic instep. Special thermoforming inserts in the heel keep the ankle in place while skiing or hiking. Double buckles for easy adjustment. The fit is touring-oriented and comfortable right out of the box. For a more precise, high-performance fit, we recommend thermo-molding before skiing.
SPOILER
The boot is equipped with a velcro spoiler for optimum back support. It adds +2° to the forward tilt.

CAYMAN LITE
The SCARPA and Vibram® outsole has an ergonomic design that guarantees optimum grip when walking on all types of terrain. Made from Durastep, it features Traction Lug technology, which increases traction by up to 25% while maintaining stability. DIN ISO 9523-compliant, compatible with all TLT bindings on the market.
