gaia 4.0, the reversible self-bailer
The self-draining Packraft is ideal for class 3+ river use. At the factory, we make 16 drainage holes in the bottom fabric, distributed over the front and rear of the boat. Any water that may enter the Packraft in whitewater is quickly drained away through these drain holes. This function incorporates 16 watertight screw-in plugs* (+ 4 replacement plugs), enabling you to return your Packraft to its inboard out-of-water configuration whenever you want. The boat is equipped with an integral mattress perfectly suited to rapid water evacuation, and also isolates the paddler from any water on the bottom of the boat.
