AXIS Spitfire 1180 Carbon Front Fender

The Spitfire 1180 is an excellent wing for those just starting out in down-winding. It doesn't need to be as fast as the ART PRO 1201 or 1401, making it easy to stay on the wave. Turns and control are amazing for such a big kite, making downwind accessible to almost everyone. We think it's exactly the right time for this foil, offering a less taxing road entry on the downwind route.

As a dock and pump wing, the Spitfire 1180 is easy and forgiving to start, fun and surprisingly nimble to play with, and as such is fast becoming a favorite of our dock and pump team pilots.

The Spitfire 1180 is a light-wind foiling kite and SUP weapon for small and low waves. It has easy lift and is user-friendly, sharing the same predictable nature that has made the rest of the Spitfire range so popular in all disciplines, and now the bigger guys can enjoy it too.

For the wake team, the Spitfire 1180 can sail any wake, from 1st to 10th, and will be a favorite of the bigger guys.

Throughout the development process, we put the Spitfire to the test. The smaller sizes are fast with explosive turns. The larger sizes are perfect for smaller spots and taller riders. Spitfires are versatile front wings, capable of riding in waves or on flat water in prone, SUP, winging, wake, downwind, lake pumping and kite foiling. They do it all.
Spitfires are ideally suited to our Black Advance fuselage and our Progressive or Skinny range of rear wings.
