Turning the tide

One of the most popular directional boards, the Mellow brings as much grace as power to the Snow.Surf quiver. It's a board with a timeless look that lets you connect with every turn and feel comfortable on the slope line. Camber underfoot, a moderately stiff flex and aggressive sidecut keep it edgy in resort, but with more volume on the nose and an early rocker, it weaves easily through carves and really glides through powder.

Key features

• The Mellow is equipped with Master Core. Two types of wood (poplar and paulownia) are combined to obtain the best: lightness, strength and responsiveness.
• The increased surface area of the tip increases lift in deep snow; the shorter tail sinks naturally, reducing rear leg burn.
• The Mellow is made from a blend of triax and biax fibers. With carbon inserts at each end of the core, this gives the board a firm flex and smooth ride.
