The SUPERWING X was born out of wing designs over the past three years and the conclusion that if Reedin wanted superior performance, they needed to use better materials.

Reedin began working with the leading X-PLY manufacturer to create a thinner, lighter, more ductile X-PLY material specifically designed for the SUPERWING X.

The X-PLY is stiffer, stronger, and has virtually no stretch compared to conventional canopy material. This provides a ride like you've never experienced before when flying. The entire platform is much stiffer and there is virtually no flutter, even when the wing is in neutral, making it the most stable and quietest wing you have ever experienced.

The entire platform is much stiffer with minimal flutter, even when the wing is flying in neutral, making it the most stable and quietest wing you've ever experienced.

EVOLUTIVE AR

The X-PLY would not be possible without the patented FOLDSTRIP, which allows the wing to be carried in a small bag. The FOLDSTRIP allows the wing to be folded in half at the fabric strip of the canopy and then rolled up without creasing the X-PLY.

TENSIONED CANOPY

The Aspect Ratio evolves with each size. Larger sizes have a lower AR for a shorter span and better low-end power, while smaller sizes have a slightly higher AR for better control and speed at higher speeds. This also prevents the wing tips of the larger sizes from touching the water.

TENSIONED CANOPY

Built under tension for the most stable profile and wing, offering a very direct feel with minimal float while sailing. This ensures a very stable ride, both in the neutral position at the front handle, and when riding.

RADIAL SEAMS

The three axis grid of the X-PLY distributes the effort perfectly over the whole canopy. This results in a much more efficient wing.

S-STRUT

Offers a very direct response because the back of the strut is directly connected to the wing. The recessed handle allows for a short handle with plenty of room for your hands, giving you very direct control of the kite, while maintaining comfort.
