For this CWC V3, we worked on three areas: materials, material placement and design to improve performance and durability.

F-ONE STRIKE CWC V3

The inflatable structure of the STRIKE CWC V3 is made of HITEX 158g and 178g. This brand new high tenacity polyester exclusive to F-ONE offers great resistance to elongation and therefore greater durability and new performance.

The central batten is thinner thanks to the new HITEX 158g and its independent valve which allows better control of its pressure. It also has longitudinal reinforcements to better control its shape and resistance in strong wind.

The two center leading edge segments on either side of the batten are made of HITEX 178g, while the others are made of 158g. The two weights are perfectly distributed to take into account the different tensions, high pressures and weight distribution in this area.

Since the beginning, we have also kept a fairly thin leading edge diameter at the wing tip, providing flexibility, comfort and glide but also lightness and less inertia.

The CWC V3 features our new NANO spinnaker. This innovative micro ripstop polyester in 55g is used on the entire surface of the delawing spinnaker. It benefits from a NANO coating and a Plasma treatment process that provides rigidity, resistance to stretching and tearing, and increased durability. With optimized materials and design, the CWC V3s remain light and comfortable.

F-ONE STRIKE CWC V3

Thanks to Sail Engineering, we have developed a brand new design where everything has been thought to adapt the shape to the tension of the wing and the new materials.

Each panel of the CWC V3 is precisely arranged to support a specific tension. The wing body cut is a combination of horizontal panels on the front with a vertical seam separating them from the center radial cut. The trailing edge is still with a vertical panel. Finally, we again have a small radial cut at the wing tip and at the end of the center batten to distribute the tension well.

Precise orientation of the fabric so that it works in the right direction allows it to control its deformations to a level never achieved on a wing.

Our unique staggered seams prevent too much tension and smooth the profile. This way, the fabric and its seams work better and the wing never deforms in flight. The profile control is ideal and the stability is perfect to sail in balance on both arms and in comfort.

The new trailing edge and back of the profile tensions bring performance and control. We have also developed an innovative new reinforcement ("Load Diffuser") on the back of the batten in different layers of Mylar and Dacron, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient profile to ensure stability, performance and durability.

All assemblies and reinforcements have been redesigned to improve tension, folds, and the strength and durability of the wing. We have been able to optimize the weight to keep the STRIKE CWC light while improving its strength

F-ONE STRIKE CWC V3

In order to improve and optimize the rider's control of the wing, we have stiffened our handles while keeping their original lighter construction. This construction with no hard parts prevents damage to your kite, board or yourself. These ergonomic and comfortable handles have a slightly deformable side, allowing a perfect fit to the axis of the effort.

This way, we were able to keep freedom in the shape of the batten, which goes down immediately behind the leading edge and then up towards the wing to the rear hand to obtain a natural edge.

F-ONE STRIKE CWC V3

Sailing in light winds has never been so efficient. Our patented Compact Wing Concept (CWC) and its 3-batten technology offers the most compact design on the market in the larger sizes. The two additional battens provide ideal trailing edge tension and twist. The surface area is increased, without lengthening the leading edge length or diameter. Speed and heading are optimized for light wind.

This unique geometry provides exceptional power while remaining very accessible. The compact outline makes it easy to plan and pump and makes all phases of flight easier. Very maneuverable and easy to turn over when in the water, the CWC V3 allows you to sail effortlessly, giving you the feeling of using a 5m², with the wingtips always staying away from the water surface.

The already impressive high range of the CWCs has been improved so that you can spread out the gusts if the wind picks up.

This wing is available in four sizes ranging from 6 to 9m². Thanks to this design, which is perfectly adapted to large surfaces, we have added the 9m² to the range this year. This one is mainly aimed at the bigger ones who will be able to use it perfectly during their sessions.
