This year, the R&D team worked intensively on smoothing the profile with a unique design with staircase seams on the trailing edge. This breaks the tension line of the seam, which means that the kite profile is perfectly smooth. We also kept the orientation of the fabric so that it works in the straight line.

On the back of the profile, the two vertical panels are transformed into a single panel, and on small areas of 8m² and less, we used our new TECHNOFORCE 66. It also replaces the double thickness of TECHNOFORCE 52 on the trailing edge.

On large surfaces of 9m² and more, we have kept the TECHNOFORCE 52 with a double thickness on the trailing edge to guarantee lightness. Thanks to the innovative stepped seams, surges are better controlled to obtain a perfectly smooth profile.

All this leads to greater efficiency and performance, and brings impressive stability and comfort in the high range.

The leading edge batten reinforcements are now thinner and made of Kevlar. This improves the handling and maneuverability of the kite in the window, reduces aerodynamic disturbances, and lowers the overall weight of the kite when wet.

Our 4-point connection and 2 pulleys guarantee maneuverability and control in all conditions.

CNC machined, the new low-friction anodized aluminum "pulleys" are lightweight and improve kite responsiveness. They also increase the abrasion resistance and durability of the bridle.

DELTA C-SHAPE :The DELTA shape provides exceptional stability in the shock position and allows for higher placement of the front lines.

The DELTA C-SHAPE is a new shape patented by F-ONE, used for 15 years. It was born from a research to optimize the aerodynamic performance of the wing and its depower. The Delta C-Shape allows for a greater surface area distribution in the center of the wing, thus increasing the projected area. AUTO RELAUNCH : F-ONE's auto relaunch is quick and easy, and allows the kite to relaunch with the perfect amount of traction. When the kite is on the water on its leading edge, its C-Shape combined with the Delta's pivot point allows it to automatically flip over the ear. The kite will then glide to the edge of the window, ready to be relaunched quickly and easily from the water.

FORCE FRAME:The Force Frame is a solid Dacron structure offering optimized durability without added weight.

REACTOR VALVE : The inflation valve offers a high flow connection that locks the pump hose to the kite for easy and very fast inflation and deflation at the touch of a button. It ensures high airflow between the battens and the leading edge.

TECHNOFORCE: TEIJIN's TECHNOFORCE™ is the most reliable high-density polyester fabric. Its anti-tear structure using a fine, high-tension yarn makes the fabric ultra-durable. It is proven to be lightweight and durable.

STAGGERED SEAMS : This F-ONE innovation produces an incredibly smooth profile for greater efficiency and sharper performance. Unique stepped seams have been implemented on the critical parts of the wings. The tension line of the seam is broken, resulting in a perfectly level sail profile. For over 20 years, we have built all our kites with the best fabric in the industry from the Teijin factory in Japan.

Teijin has developed the most technical fabric on the market over the years and has worked on major developments including double ripstop and durability treatments.

The kite industry lacked choice in fabric density. We made kites with a 52 grams per square meter fabric for the spinnaker and about 160 grams for the leading edge, battens and reinforcements. This was not easy for the construction because in some places the 52g was too light and the 160g too heavy.

After many tests, we now use a new 130g double ripstop Dacron. Thus, we have reduced the weight while maintaining excellent strength. The kite is more responsive and has a lighter feel, which is especially important for larger sizes in light wind and for the speed of rotation during kite loops.

How to adjust the settings ?

When the sail is tacked, the back line relaxes and the forces pass through the front connector. The helm pressure increases and the handling is less direct. The benefit to the rider is a very progressive helm with the equivalent of the back connector being pulled back when being trimmed, and when the sail is tacked, the pressure gradually increases.

HIGH TENSION ADJUSTMENT When the kite is shocked with the top knot tuning (1): - the kite's maneuverability increases

When you shock, the wing tilts and the back line tightens. The tension goes through the trailing edge, which has several effects: less flapping, a better turn start with less pressure on the bar.

LOW TENSION SETTINGS When the kite is tucked out of the low knot setting (2): - the kite's manoeuvrability decreases - the bar pressure increases
