The Nidecker Supermatic is what snowboarding has been waiting for: the first universal double-entry automatic binding. Many brands have tried and failed. Most of these systems required specific boots; many didn't work well in powder; and none were as comfortable and reliable as a two-strap binding. Nidecker has spent four years developing their own solution that addresses all these issues, and it's truly a game-changer.

The Supermatic uses patented Drop In tech. Simply enter your foot from behind and press the heel pedal to automatically engage the binding. That's it - you're ready to ride. A simple release lever makes getting out just as quick. The straps have the same comfortable AuxTech design as traditional high-end Nidecker bindings. Adjust them once, then lock them with the locking pawls to enjoy a perfect fit every time. The beauty of this system is that it works with any boot from any manufacturer, and there's no complicated mechanism to get stuck in. If the slope or snow conditions require it, you can even attach them like an ordinary binding. Nidecker has built the Supermatic using proven materials found throughout their range. The baseplate is made from fiberglass-infused nylon, with a Slip-N-Grip plate that helps your toes glide over the pad for easy entry. Likewise, Nidecker has added a heel roller for easy boot passing. Finally, the Asym Hadron nylon spoiler is designed for a perfect fit, with responsive flex and an integrated forward tilt adjuster for complete customization.

All in all, it's a mid-rigid binding that the Nidecker team has called the most comfortable to date. We tested it everywhere - on groomed slopes, steep and deep freeride lines and in the park - with input from riders of all types. Bottom line: it's a fast entry system you can trust.
