WING F-ONE STRIKE CWC V4 ALUULA

All the design innovations of the fourth STRIKE version have been applied to this STRIKE CWC. This wing features intuitive pumping with a certain amount of flex for natural planing, while remaining light and easy. Each pumping movement propels the board forward, ensuring instantaneous take-off and more efficiency than ever. The aerodynamics of this wing have also been optimized for exceptional performance in light airs. In flight, the STRIKE CWC is perfectly balanced and easy to forget. This incredible forward traction, inspired by the new STRIKE, offers a unique glide, enabling more pleasant and prolonged sailing. The CWC makes heading easy, and also boasts an impressive high range for spreading out gusts if the wind picks up.

Materials: The leading edge of this fourth STRIKE CWC remains in 158g and 178g HITEX. This high-tenacity polyester offers high resistance to elongation, resulting in greater durability and new performance features. The two grammages are perfectly distributed to take account of the different tensions, high pressures and weight distribution in this area. The innovation of this wing lies in the strategic placement of ALUULA on its three battens. Thanks to the mechanical properties of this light, resistant fabric, the central batten is now thinner. This results in less drag and a noticeable reduction in weight, which also favors freefly and kite handling in downwind or jibes. Finally, ALUULA battens reduce inertia during maneuvers, transitions and pumping. Guaranteeing performance and durability, the thicker 66g TECHNOFORCE™/D2 has been placed on the trailing edge where tensions are high and resistance essential to maintain a taut trailing edge. The rest of the wing spinnaker is in 52g TECHNOFORCE™/D2.

Design: the CWC's center batten is now totally straight, allowing better control of its deformation while limiting drag. As a result, the infill is lower and deforms less, and has been extended all the way to the rear. The innovative "Load Diffuser" reinforcement at the rear of the batten has been reduced to save weight, especially when free-flying. Dihedral has been added to increase stability and keep the wingtips out of the water when pumping and sailing. New leading and trailing edge tensions help keep the profile stable for more control and incredible performance. The wing body is horizontally cut to optimize seam weight on these large-area, light-wind wings. The trailing edge is vertically cut and 66g for ideal traction control. A small radial cut at the end of the central batten helps distribute tension evenly. Finally, the Load Diffuser also helps maintain a smooth, efficient profile to guarantee stability, performance and longevity. Precise panel layout, tension distribution and Staggered Seams continue to provide exceptional profile control. The materials are also perfectly distributed to take account of the different tensions, high pressures and weight distribution in each zone.

Handles: This STRIKE CWC features the new interchangeable handle system. Flexible, hybrid or rigid, they can be customized according to preference. A revolution for light winds, the patented Compact Wing Concept (CWC) with its 3-batten technology offers the most compact design on the market for larger sizes. The two additional battens provide ideal trailing edge tension and twist. The surface area is increased, without lengthening the leading edge or its diameter. Speed and heading are optimized for light winds. This unique geometry provides exceptional power while remaining accessible. The compact outline facilitates planing and pumping, and makes all phases of flight easier. Highly maneuverable and easy to turn over when in the water, the STRIKE CWC allows effortless sailing, giving the impression of using a 5m², with the wingtips always staying far from the surface of the water.
