The leading edge and battens of the Ventis D/LAB are made of high-end Aluula fabric. Combined with a sleek 3-batten outline, this material creates a light, stiff profile that delivers unrivalled performance in light winds. Light and responsive, the Ventis D/LAB boasts an impressive lift that lifts you onto the foil without the need for excessive pumping.

The stiff, responsive Aluula 3-batten profile has enabled designer Ken Winner to reduce the wing tips to minimize ear hooking when pumping at start-up, resulting in easy-to-use, accessible 7- and 8-meter wings, even for light or less-experienced riders.

The two additional battens also enhance performance by creating an efficient profile right to the tips, increasing lift and power across the entire wing surface, with optimal sail tension, flight stability and starting power.

Efficiency and performance in the lightest winds are the DNA of the Ventis D/LAB, which is why we have combined the Aluula leading edges and battens with a lightweight ripstop fabric (50gr.) on the rest of the wing, with particular attention to the orientation of the weave on each panel, to ensure a canopy that is as light as possible, yet responsive and high-performing.

The Ventis D/LAB features a longer carbon front handle for effortless handling when sailing one-handed. The profile of the central batten, harmoniously matched to the ergonomics of the handles, offers a more comfortable hand positioning angle and allows sailing with the rear arm more extended, for longer, more comfortable sessions.
